Cutaneous Lymphoma

This is the most common type of priamry cutaneous lymphoma, and is a form of Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, in which malignant T-cells are localised to the skin with no evidence of extra-cutaneous disease at the time of diagnosis.


Presentation

  • Typically presents as patches, papules, nodules, plaques, or tumours

  • Pruritis


Investigations

  • FBC

  • Skin biopsy - multiple often needed, especially in the early stages


Management

  • Topical treatments

  • Excision, phototherapy

  • Systemic treatment - chemotherapy, retinoids
