Mesenteric Adenitis

This is where there are inflamed abdominal lymph nodes. It typically presents with diffuse abdominal pain with a preceding infection, such as an URTI or tonsillitis. N+V is usually absent in these patients.

Before a diagnosis can be made, Appendicitis must be ruled out with an abdominal ultrasound.

It's managed supportively.
