Neuroblastoma

This is a rare cancer that typically affects children < 5 years. It often starts developing in the adrenal glands.

It presents very similarly with a nephroblastoma; with an abdominal mass and abdominal distension.

Investigations:

• US Abdomen

• CT CAP

• Biopsy

Management - Surgery +/- adjuvant chemo/radiotherapy
